Give a truly original gift of warmth and color this season, by hand-dyeing a pair of our ready-to-wear, undyed gloves.
Milled in Italy, these high quality gloves are 80% lambswool for softness, and 20% nylon for sturdy wear. Their hands are knit in stockinette, and their cuffs are ribbed for a cozy fit.
Four sizes are available:

8" x 7.5", with 2.5" cuff for men
7" x 7", with 13" cuff for women
7" x 7", with 2.25" cuff for women
6" x 5", with 1.75" cuff for children
They dye beautifully with natural or acid dyes, even Kool-Aid! We dyed the gloves pictured here with indigo dye from Maiwa Supply. We also recommend acid dyes from PRO Chemical & Dye.
We had a lot of fun with simple resist dyeing - using clamps like these, we simply clamped plastic circles like these to the gloves shown here. We clamped a circle between two gloves, lined up with two more circles - one on the outside of each (3 circles, one clamp), and then dropped the gloves in the dye pot - the clamped portions resisted the dye - so easy, and so beautiful. See links to two more simple dyeing techniques at the bottom of this page - note how fabulous our full length gloves for women look when worn!
