    Layered with interesting stitch patterns, the Geology Shawl is designed to keep you engaged while learning new techniques. Working from the center out in three 'wedges', you will knit through six separate "layers" to create a beautiful textured fabric. Suitable for intermediate knitters, in finished size 15 x 44", and it uses 390 - 420 yards of fingering weight yarn (27-29 st/4") – works out to just 4 balls of Permin Estelle (70% wool/ 20% angora/ 10% silk - fingering weight - 27 sts/ 4" - 132 yards per 50g ball).

  • Designed by Shui Kuen Kozinski, Taiga is knit in two halves, from the center, using a provisional cast on. Its gentle shaping is achieved by using short rows, which gives the shawl a comfortable crescent shape.
