Featured Design: Patchwork Jacket from Noro Knitting Magazine Fall 2012 makes a bold statement, and elann.com has been given permission to offer a printed copy of the pattern free with your order for 6 or more balls of Noro Hitsuji. Its simple shape and large buttons keep the focus on its dynamic colorwork, done using intarsia knitting. Available in two sizes, with finished closed bust measurements 127/137cm (50/54"), finished length 51/56 cm (20/22"), upper arm 40.5/45.5cm (16/18"), it is suitable for intermediate knitters. Pattern calls for 6, 7 balls of Noro Hitsuji for the MC, and 2, 4 balls for the CC of Noro Karuta [150 meters (164 yards) per 100g]. Both yarns knit at a gauge of 12 sts to 10 cm (4"), so an additional 300/450 meters (327/491 yards) of Noro Hitsuji could be substituted for the CC, and because Hitsuji is self-striping - the entire cardigan could be knit up in a single colorway of Hitsuji, using 9, 13 balls.
Pattern will automatically be included with your order for 6 or more balls of Hitsuji.
