Thanks for the good wishes. I am headed to your neck of the woods - actually, just Toronto - next week to visit my mother at her LTC. Hoping there will be no snowstorms this time, beautiful though they can be.

I was beginning to wonder about your silence, even though I have not been around every day. Those low platelets are totally scary - DH went through that after every chemo treatment, and I learned to watch him like a hawk for the first sign that we had to call the clinic and run...
Continued prayers for you and your family. You need to take care of yourself, too.

(Every time we fly the polar route to or from Europe I have hopes of catching a glimpse of the aurora borealis, but so far no luck on timing.)
