Libby, beautiful job with that jacket. Very nice, Libby! It is great that you keep knitting, kids and all - a trick I never managed to pull out of my hat when mine were small...

where is the cashmere? Which one?... Both the DB and the EL disappeared!
In the confusion and haste, I ended up with more DB lavender than I need, so if you want some, e-mail me at martardiasatgmaildotcom.

Looking forward to seeing what have you been knitting...

Oooops-I ordered too much cashmere Oh, I did that last time, too. Today, I was busy and got to the computer too late to go bonkers again...which is just fine, since I have EL coming. But those colors were tugging at me again...

Looking forward to seeing the beautiful cashmere things showing up on the left side...

Who Else got the sock yarn yesterday? Olive,

I would recommend you look at the Elann merino, which is machine washable and I found baby-skin soft. In fact, I just used it to make a baby hat and booties (need to get a picture and post it!).

A couple of years ago I made a sweater for my DGS with Baby Cashmere, and it was gorgeous and oh-so-soft, but did not wear that well - it started felting quickly along the sides of the front, where those ever-moving arms rubbed constantly...lol

My two cents...

Yarn money all went to the Police Dept./OT Oh Evelyn, that is terrible! Isn`t the saying, "no good deed shall go unpunished"?...
Joking aside (I hope you can joke about it...) you may be able to fight that ticket. Years ago I got one for parking without a permit at a local community college. I had a parking permit, but in the rush of being late to the class I was taking, forgot to display it in the car. The judge promptly dismissed the case! Of course I had to spend a morning in Traffic Court, but it was worth it. So, good luck whatever you decide. You have, also, your MIL`s permit, which I assume is up to date...

Marta

P.S.: My DH had the same reaction as yours, and thought I was wasting time fighting that ticket...

Patricia - Your Hemlock Ring That is beautiful, Patricia! What a great choice of yarn - and, of course, the usual amazing knitting! You say it is easy?!...You give me hope of tackling it at some point in the future.
Happy knitting.
