I just hit my five year Elanniversary!!!

You made me look - and my first purchase (Pakucho for a sweater for my first DGS, after many years away from the needles) was in Oct. 2001!! But I was safe until I discovered the Chat Center, about three years later. That`s when my closets and drawers started to fill up with yarn faster than I could knit it...

Advice is needed?
|
A couple of things, beyond all the tips above, that I found helpful to remember when I first tried dpns (still not crazy about them):
- use a stitch marker to mark the beginning of the row (they all look alike in the round).
- if you think you are lost after putting down the work and don`t know which way to go, look at where the yarn is and knit leftwards from there. That is, assuming you are right-handed. I suppose the reverse would be true for a left-handed person.
