So, the other day I was talking about wanting to knit a baby blankie I have not tried it in Pakucho, but if you want it wear-resistant, what about linen stitch? Bumpy on one side and cloth-like on the other - very strong. Maybe with a seed stitch border and heart or animal in the middle?
I`ll keep my eyes open in the near future.

So, the other day I was talking about wanting to knit a baby blankie Oh, how I love that blanket, too! The thing about doubling Pakucho may be the weight.

Daryl`s been sandbagging! Beautiful works, Daryl! Are you keeping them, or are you giving some fabulous Christmas presents?

Benne - baby b;anket Sorry to hear you are in pain. Do take your meds and don`t fight the urge to sleep. That must be what your body needs now.

Hello all.... Oh, Cheryl, what a mixture of fun and troubles! I would insist on a third opinion, and quick answers.
Hang in there!

A question on Felted Slippers Do you mean you actually let them spin in the machine? I`ve read somewhere that doing that may produce creases that you can`t get rid of - but your felted items are all gorgeous! So which is it?...With the results you get, I`ll trust your answer more than some book or article.

Thanks,

Marta

A question on Felted Slippers I double-checked and it is Bev Galeskas herself who warns against it in her book. But I like the idea of letting the machine spin out the water...
I definitely am going to felt a few things (on purpose...) before the end of the year.

A question on Felted Slippers Looks like I`ll be in very good company if I let mine go through the spinning cycle. Thanks, Joan and Donna!

Marie, Daryl, les, Joan, Suzann, Bets, Chris Oh, that reminds me of the Michigan years! Not the preparations - we lived in Ann Arbor - but the temperatures. Here this year we keep alternating between Indian Summer and low 60`s...But I think it is going to be a cold winter, because the squirrels cleaned up our walnut tree in no time, and our chinese pistachio is already dropping the most gorgeous red and yellow leaves all over the backyard.

Stay warm! Can`t wait to see your next knitting wonder.
