New poll---your best-loved patterns-
|
I have made umpteen baby/toddler pants using the pattern in Last Minute Gifts either in Esprit or stretch wool yarns (mostly by request after I made the first pair). KPS top-down sweaters (including their free pattern) and EZ`s gull-wing sweater are also favorites for children.
Feather and fan variations on scarves or shawls always look pretty. Also looking forward to trying SK`s patterns (which one to start with?).

Oh, I could I forget the Irish Walking Scarf (from Hello Yarns, I think). Although I don`t usually repeat patterns unless I am asked to, I have willingly knitted this one several times - manly, rustic, casual or very elegant, depending on the yarn.

Oh, I`ve been in the same boat - too swamped to both look and write. It is hard to keep up with all that`s been happening here - all beautiful and inspiring! Plus the blogs! So much richness, so little time...

The first part is easy - I keep admiring your wonderful knitting, designing, blogging, etc., as often as I can, but life has been very full of, well, the kind of life events that leave me little time or energy to post. The sidebar and the pattern section are wonderful - Big Congratulations all around!
The second part is embarrassing - do I only speak up when I need help?! Here is my problem: the DGS I started knitting a sweater for has grown several inches since I planned the project, and I am in real danger of having to frog the whole thing and start over for his younger brother - which would not be a major problem if he had not personally selected the train in the front of the sweater...
So, if anyone has some spare Schoeller Stahl Micro Cablé in navy blue (Color 4) please e-mail me at martardiasatgmaildotcom. I`m keeping my fingers crossed...
(I posted an SOS in the Desperately Seeking, but no answers so far.)
Congratulations again on the wonderful works. This site is a true delight...

Look at it this way - he wants to make sure you get plenty of exercise. The ducks and all the rest surely were not enough - quite a caring puppy you have there...
