What`s on the needles? After frogging several times, I`m working on a nice pink cardigan that I started back when Stephanie Pearl-McPhee had us knitting for the Olympics. How many years is that? Needless to say, I didn`t win, but I`m doing a better job because I have had so much experience since I started.

BTW - Where is Benne? I don`t remember any posts lately.

What is your favourite Elann yarn to make socks .....and what is the minimum yardage required for a basic pair of socks. I`m just learing the two at once socks and want to use the correct naterials so I can constructively critisize my work.`
Many Thanks,
Evelyn

What is your favourite Elann yarn to make socks Thank you Joan, Barb and Theresa for your input. I have used Esprit in the past but wasn`t impressed with what I had chosen it for. It was beautiful yarn but just the wrong thing for what I was making. Now, I think I would prefer a mostly soft wool with a little bit of nylon and definately washable. I havent` hit on the right one yet.

So just like high school, I didn`t study and flunked my test - OT Benne....So sorry to hear you are going through a difficult time again. I think after this is fixed, you will have all new parts and be ready to outlive all of us. I think most of us face an overhaul of our working parts in our lifetime but this is rediculous. You have had far too many.
When I was nursing I made a list of the "tests" that I was never, ever going to partake of and I have had to remind my doc a few times about that list.
I wish all the best for you and wouldn`t it be wonderful if we could all meet up somewhere someday.
Thinking of you.....Evelyn
