Thanks again I am pleased your surgery is over and that you are home. Take good care, I am so glad you have Dawn there to help you. Work hard at your PT so you can kick any behinds that need it. :)

REALLY OT !!! and not! I`m hopeless at this but someone recommended the Maybelline Great Lash but I don`t wear mascara since the eye surgery. Putting in drops every hour makes mascara kind of a mess and the waterproof kind irritates my eyes plus I can`t get the dang stuff off and I`m not supposed to rub my eyes. Jeez, I am so boring. :)

Has anyone tried Navajo knitting method? That helps, Alice. I wish I could come! :)

Ooooohhhhh I got several bags,it`s just too good to let slip away. I bought two bags of black because Thom wants his things black, bittersweet, 1 bag ruby,2 bags merlot. I had a doctor`s appt in Nashville this afternoon and I came home and added the black and some spare balls of ruby to my order. I am not having a good time and the doc ordered bunches of tests and probably more to follow. Blech. I am going to put all my yarn on a barge and set sail like in Lord of the Rings. Sure hope I can get that Aragorn guy to go with me. ha!

Ooooohhhhh I think you will love the bittersweet color, Sandra. I`ve been in love with it since Canapone came out in it. When we bought our Target sweaters, I got mine in bittersweet and the color is really good with lots of colors. I think our coloring is similar enough that it will be a good color for you too. I wore my sweater yesterday and the lady that drew my blood said she had the same sweater in green. I`m sure I`ll be fine. I just need to get Dr.House on the case. ;)

Blocking Shawl Knit with Elann Bamboo Blocking is just fine for your shawl, Mary. It should make the stitches even out and help with puckering. I find blocking takes care of a most problems. You can give your shawl a bath in Euclan or a good wool wash and roll in a towel to remove excess water.

I put my shawl in a lingerie bag, run a small amount of lukewarm water in the washing machine, put in a little Euclan and the shawl, and let the shawl soak for a few minutes with no agitation. After a few minutes, I spin the water out and then block the shawl.

Good luck, it should do wonders for your shawl.

Interweave Knits Summer Preview Hey kids, the IK preview is up and there are some pretty things I like very much - Kathy Zimmerman has a cute Sprout tee, Grotto wrap is lovely, Vivian Haxbro has a very cool tote, and there are a couple of pretty skirts. There`s quite a range of project looks and some like very similar to designs already out there to me but my memory`s shot so what do I know? Everything old is new again. Wonder if that works on people??? ;)

Blocking Shawl Knit with Elann Bamboo I haven`t knit the bamboo either, but I think Annie is right, it will grow if it`s lace. I`m not sure if you want it to grow or not but you could wash it and not stretch it out too much when blocking, just the amount you need to ease puckering. When I haven`t used a yarn before, I find knitting and washing a swatch first very helpful so I know what to expect. I hope it works out for you, let us know and maybe post a picture for us to admire. :)

Spring Agatē Stole -l who`s knit one? I was wondering if anyone has knit up their bag of cotton and cotton blend yarns into the stole. I`d love to see how the green, blue and red ones knit up. I`ve been looking at the yarns and trying to visualize the finished stole. :)

Spring Agatē Stole -l who`s knit one? It`s my traveling project too, Grace. I`m making the green for my oldest daughter for her birthday. Unfortunately, I get to work on it today. I have to go to Nashville for an endoscopy. If it`s not one end, it`s the other! ;)

Spring Agate Stole-who`s knit one? I like the idea of a tank from those lovely blues and lilac colors, Sandra. I am really enjoying working with the different yarns. I know what you mean about all that seed stitch. I worked on the stole yesterday and it is perfect for the car and sitting and waiting. That way it`s not all at once. :) What pattern are you using for your tank?

Need help - trouble with my needles Yes, I have had this happen to several of the Harmony tips and I had to pull them out and reglue the tips back in. You don`t have to send the tip back but contact them and ask for a replacement. I didn`t but I don`t use them much. What pattern and color are you knitting with the lovely Lara? I know what you mean about making the most of that head of steam. :)

Anyone get the Seta Lana, and what are your plans for it? Oh, my gosh, Sandra, I didn`t know you went to Germany! How was your trip? I`ll bet it was fun and how does your son like Germany? I`m bursting with questions. :)

I got two bags of raspberry.

If I make this, will I be bitterly disappointed?? I like this top too. I think Les is right, it`s elegant. If the buttons weren`t in the middle of the flounce, the flounce would be very droopy and not as dressy or elegant,I think.

Vermont Fibers patterns - new today I like them too! The Vermont Fibers patterns I bought in the past were very well written and classic.

I`m going to order them so we can all be twinsies, okay?
