Yesterday I jaunted off to Victoria to deliver 7 copies of my thesis! It grew to be 200 pages of text plus front pieces, appendices, and bibliography - History at University of Victoria only requires 80 pages but this just sort of grew, and grew, and grew. It`s done except for the defense on August 18th and any minor revisions after that. Hasn`t really hit me yet. Took DD for lunch after I submitted it and we opened the white box that I had picked up at the post office on the way to the ferry. Contents are the start of samples for next year`s retreats. Now I can knit and knit without feeling guilty.

Happy Dancing here!! Sounds like you had to ship it in a copier-paper box.
Any hints you`re willing to give about next year`s retreat theme?

Congratulations! Lots of hard work but well worth the effort. Takes a while to let it sink in that "wow" "done" feeling.
