Mine is getting ammo and golf balls, unless I can think of something else he needs. What are you giving yours?

No, really. I can`t think of a thing the man needs. I already bought the Craftsman roll around tool chest, he has a nice car, a good TV....what else is there that men need???

My husband loves a really nice bag to put the tools in should he need to go somewhere with his tools. The more pockets the better! Actually, Mine is getting an I phone for Christmas...

lol. I`m the one that like tools around here. Dan is the kind of guy that you give football kinda stuff to. I`m considering getting him and the boys a Wii for Christmas. I swore we`d never have a video game but I folded a few years ago and surprised them with a PS2. We`ll see.... still thinking about it. It`s quite an investment. But I`ll be the house favorite for at least a day. And then I`ll tell them all the time rules. lol.
Peace, Jean

DH`s idea of a gift this year is to get an elliptical.
Unfortunately, due to space limitations, this means I have to unpack/move all the boxes that are in our living room to make space for this monstrosity. Sigh, yep we still haven`t figured out what to do with all the boxes from our move last Sept.

This year is going to be tough. DH has about all the useful gadgets from Lee Valley, he`s still working through some of the books he got last year, he doesn`t need any new clothes, and `we` got a big-screen TV last year. But he really likes to find lots of prezzies under the tree. It`s a puzzlement.
My plan is to finish the entrelac vest for him, but y`know how that sort of plan sometimes fails.

Three moves are as good as a fire, Marie. I feel your pain.

I asked DH what he might be interested in, and there is nothing. He`s probably going to get some fun cold weather clothes and put some money towards a trip next spring for us. He just doesn`t know it yet! LOL Bri

I am somewhat directionally challenged. I can read maps, but if I come to a place to turn and don`t know which way, I almost invariably turn the wrong way. DH has `threatened` to get me a GPS.

I have bought my husband a piece of art now and again. Some of it is by local artists so I feel good about that too. One time, I dug out some 35 y.o. b&w photos of him rock climbing in Wales and had them framed. One gets soooooo sick of shirts and pj`s. Don`t know what I`ll do this year. In Canada, ammo is not an option and if it was, I`d be buying it for myself. :)

You know Bets, my Dad always asked for "Dusky maidens and Gorgonzola cheese." So you never know Bets :-}

Santa brings DH socks and underwear every year, because he will NOT buy them for himself. He did however, request one of those lightweight water resistant golf jackets and now has a whole little water resistant golf suit which he loves. If your DH is getting golf balls he might like to be able to play in slightly damp weather and they aren`t super warm so would be good for TX. Or even long underwear for those days in which it is just a wee bit chilly to play, and would make it a bit more comfortable? Otherwise we truly try to stay away from "Stuff" just for the sake of stuff so there have been years he didn`t get much of anything.

Gorgonzola and dusky maidens. Undie Claus (Daryl, Undie Claus has been with my family for over 30 years. The best one was the year I told my niece Santa was going to give bad kids granny panties. She threw them over the apartment balcony!) And GPS? Maybe I WANT him to stay lost?? Maybe I will go look at golf bags. And underwear.
Diane, DH bought me a handgun last weekend. He has fired it more than I have. I think he adopted it.
