You guys are great! Thank you for all your coments, I sure loved reading them.

My next thing is to try to make One Skein Wonder without the pattern. I`ve seen enough pictures and think it`s a simple raglan construction without the front part. I cast on last night, but it came out to big, so I`ll start over today. Will keep you posted. Now that I know how to send in the pictures. After 3 attempts. LOL.

Ladies, thank you so much for the nice comments on my dress. Because of what Libby said - I have a family and job, I will probably never write any patterns for publishing. Maybe I shouldn`t say "never", but that`s how I feel now. Maybe when I`m old and retired and have all the time I want I`ll think of writing patterns, but now I just want to enjoy my hobby and make things for me and my family.

I`m so glad I found you, a wonderful bunch of woman, who are as crazy about yarn and knitting as I am. It means so much to me to get words of approval and encouragement from those who trully appreciate this craft.

Regards,
Svetlana

Svetlana,

I know exactly how you feel about writing down your designs. I keep having this dilema myself but I always break down and do it. I like the challenge of writing it down and seeing if anyone else can follow what I`m trying to tell them to do.

After reading the comments here and on Ravelry, I feel I can make anything! Thank you for giving me that confidence. lol

This is the second time I made the set-in sleeve and the first time I made something so properly fit and with details like the buttonhole band and the shawl colar. I was kinda frustrated because untill you seam the parts you can`t try it on, not like my favorite top-down raglans. But I`m very happy with the end result!

You know Svetlana, I rather look at your knitting then most of the stuff in magazines. Not only are they beautifully knit but fit you perfectly. Actually you are very couture, where as the magazines are off the rack.
You go girl!

It is specatacular. Now Svetlana is the creature of elegance we need to have in the newspaper when they post articles about how knitting isn`t just for old women and afghans.

I have heard from Gary, and he is ok, although he will be in the hospital for a few weeks.I am quite certain that the prayers here made a difference. Candles burning now in thanksgiving to God, and this post is in thanksgiving to all of you. I always know you guys are there for the tough stuff! Thanks a million!

Such good news, T! Tell him a bunch of wacky knitters are sending up supplications for his recovery. :)

Thanks for letting us know, T. My Elann candle is getting a work out.
You tell him knitters mojo is the best in the world and it is heading his way!

Hi Gals,
Thanks so much for all your kind words. This really was a fun knit and my first knitting experience with the HW Sport - very nice to work with.
It is true that Elann options make some of these projects much more affordable and more than comparable in quality.
