Please help. I posted a reply to Theresa from queensb with the subject matter being "Theresa - Your spoon problem". I submitted it twice and it didn`t show up on the screen. Are you able to find it and put it where it is supposed to? Many thanks....Evelyn

I`ll try this again.
My DH said that you definately would have to polish the spoon after grinding but first you would have to wet sand it with progressive types of sand paper from a course grit to a fine grit and then polish. The type of work you have to do to save the spoon is much like auto body repair and they could advise you better than anyone. Do you know anyone in the business?
Don said he doubts whether you could find anyone at Home Depot who knows how to fix it, although you could buy the sandpaper there. Just remember that you have to keep the spoon wet while you are sanding it.
So you start with the dremel and then the sand paper and then polish it.
Seems like a lot of work for a spoon. Wouldn`t you rather be knitting?
Good Luck with this and be sure to keep me posted on your progress. Evelyn
