When I knit my first pair of socks I said it was because I didn`t understand the attraction of knitting them but was willing to give it a try. Jayne said one has to knit 2-3 pairs before the addiction sets in. Well, I did enjoy it and am looking for another pattern. I may be on my way to sock-addition!
I`ve purchased some yarn, the kind with the chitin in it, for my second pair. It`s variegated with blues and white - I thought it would go nicely with denim. I`m looking for a pattern. I think I`d like to try a bit of a pattern. Could anyone please suggest a sock pattern that looks nice with a variegated yarn?
Thanks much.

Sock addiction = sock addition. Everyone in your extended family will want a pair.

Didn`t even notice the type O...
Anyway, someone led me to Drops designs yesterday and I saw that they had tons of nice socks...

There is a free pattern by Ann Budd on the Knitting Daily site. It is called Diagonal Ribs. I happen to be on my second sock now and am using a variegated yarn that looks good with it.
