Not dumb, distracted, Suzann. Are you feeling better?

Ocean Paton`s Katrina in the Corona for mindless knitting, finally got the Nixie`s net established well in variegated silk for pay attention, and I have three pairs of felted clogs to do by the end of the school year. Been playing with dye to get the right greens, much harder than I thought. I wish I had the art in middle school my kids got, full of color theory. There are of course, several started lace shawl knit alongs from last spring when i was really into those and actually finished one. Still like them and want to finish them, but I`m trying to get some of the sweaters for which I bought yarn made so I don`t keep buying for the same outfits for which I want sweaters.

I have 3, top down sweaters on the go......
2 are from Custom Knits - Favorite Cardigan and Slinky ribs. Fear of finishing I think!!
Then I have the Hannah Fetig, Whisper well on it`s way. It is knit with laceweight Malabrigo so takes "a few" hours of knitting!

Ooh. Maybe not good knitting during the summer, but at least you may actually finish something Before it is time to wear it. I tend to finally finish things six months off season.

I`ve been busy knitting the cover page Vogue Medallion shrug out of Bamboo. That edging takes FOREVER!

A pair of socks for my bud Donna...never knitted anyone but me socks but lucky for me her feet are the same size as mine...just thinner foot. (Yes I have the big duck feet!)

After frogging several times, I`m working on a nice pink cardigan that I started back when Stephanie Pearl-McPhee had us knitting for the Olympics. How many years is that? Needless to say, I didn`t win, but I`m doing a better job because I have had so much experience since I started.

BTW - Where is Benne? I don`t remember any posts lately.

Going to take a look-see at Ravelry and see if you have it posted. Many times I get an idea that I want to knit something and then I read Rav notes, and come down to reality about whether it would be a struggle or a pleasure for me to knit it!

I have cast on and discarded two whole projects in the past week. The current one is in Sea Silk, but I got a good idea today, and you know how I get (impatient!) when something catches my imagination....

I just thought of something my DGD needs....a watermelon sweater! And I am just the grandma to make THAT happen!!!

I managed to start a sock and scarf at the beginning of my Lake Tahoe trip. I finished the scarf in 3 days while I was over there, it is the My So Called Scarf knit in Plymouth Trabajos del Peru. Lovely lovely yarn, so soft! My first time knitting with a thick/thin type yarn.

The 1st sock is almost done, I`m about ready to bind off. Then I just need to knit its mate.

Bets, You are totally the G-ma to make the watermelon sweater. I love it.

There is a scary amount of projects on the needles, and I`ve never felt better! Let`s see. There`s a sonata market bag, a sonata child sweater, 1/3 of a second sock, the VT Fiber company top down sweater that elann offered about a month ago in elann lux merino superwash, and a 1/4 of a mitten. And bamboo fushion should arrive today for a top down wrap cardi for BF, who needs it like yesterday. It`s my reverse winter of knitting in the AC, watching baseball and hockey, and hopefully mowing through the stash!

I am about halfway into my 4th ball of Raspberry Baby Silk for a long-standing WIP, Big Foot Shawl. This is my first full circle shawl (shaped like a Pac Man). The long rows of 300+ stitches are probably why I easily put it down to knit something else, but am determined to finish it this time!

Still working on Corona in my Patons katrina, wondering if anyone else has major stashes of it from the big rush a few years ago. Started the Green Autumn mitts in my Rowanspun from a few years ago also, I even swatched, but then 16 rows into the pattern decided I couldn`t see the stitch pattern well enough on my tiny needles and moved up two needles sizes, this time without swatching. Oh well, hopefully better to have mittens too big than too small and they will still fit, cross my fingers. A few other things have been on the needles for too long to count, but I`m hoping I can return to them when the girls head off for the summer.

Pulled out my "Favorite Cardigan" and finished it. Have decided to rework the sleeves as they won`t work for layering. My goal is to finish it this weekend. I love the Elann Incense I`m using.

Wow...too many things to list

A lot

Typical of me

But today (at least) I`m knitting Hudson (zipped hooded jacket in Noro Knits). I`m knitting it in that Kaffe Fasset Rown Colourscape, but I overdyed the yarn cuz I didn`t like his colours. It`s knitting up very fast, and I love the yarn.

Working on a washcloth using the Niki Epstein scarf pattern from the current Vogue. I`m using a striped cotton and it should be a very cute washcloth when done.
