I was really kind of surprised to hear that we have an Inner and an Outer Circle.
Then it dawned on me that I don`t even know your first name. I went back and checked several of your posts (about a month`s worth) and the only thing I know about you is that you have two preemie-born twin DGDs, and one`s name is Eva. You live in So. Cal. But you don`t sign any of your posts, and I only know you by your screen name. You haven`t posted a bio, and you haven`t given ME a chance to know you better.

Not that "I" am the "end all, be all" around here, but it just seems a little lopsided to say that there is an Inner Circle when you can read about us, but we don`t get to learn anything about you.

This seems like a perfect time for some closet-cleaning! I am officially kicking everyone out of the closet and (can I be so bold...) DEMANDING that everyone who wants to join ME (and Bets, Benne, Les, Jayne, CBM, Grace, Donna, Eileen, ACB, Evelyn, Jamie, Diane, AmyQOY, SK, Sandra, Denise (Birdlady), Bri, Cate, Christine, Jean (who has her man back!!), Libby, Karin, Lisa L. & W., MacChick, Patricia, PatW, Kim, ScullyKnits, Theresa of HUGe fame, Thechartreuseshepherd, and all of the other "long-timers" and once-in-awhilers who took the time to commit to a bio), well....I`m demanding that anyone who wants to join ME in the inner circle (gee, I feel special just saying that!!) has to submit a smiling pic and lifestory into the Chat Center Biographies so that I can feel as close to you as you want to feel to me...come on....get off your butt....take that photo....start the essay...I`m waiting........I`m waiting with open arms, so get over here....into MY very special, exclusive place!!!! (Hmmmm...Bets...I AM in the inner circle, right?)

Clue to locating - my first name is Kay - KKNITTR - my post name was dropped off the end of my submitted bio for some reason and I have 1 GD and 1 GS

KAY?!?!!?!!!! I think I`ve chatted with you before! I know you...!!! Well, I knew you back when I could remember "Kknittr" was "Kay" :(
Oops, sorry!
Anyway, my arms are open! This should be an example to everyone just how easy it is to get in, out and back in to MY inner circle!
Man, sometimes we get behaving so carefully that we don`t even know what we`re doing!!!

I`ve wondered were you`d been. I remember your bio. You were wearing a scarf that someone had knit for you, and I was astonished at your age. Even when you said the pic was a few years old.
And I thought kknittr was a relatively new poster. I am so sorry. I never clued in. But I`m kind of excited too because now I know where you`ve been.

Alrighty then! Kay, I had no way to make that association. I went back and looked, and you posted as Kay in late summer, but in November, Kknittr came out of nowhere. I had no way to make the connection that Kay=Kknittr; we also have Kims, Karins and Kellys (and you had already posted as Kay)! You don`t normally sign your posts.
Apparently, I am not the only person who didn`t realize that you were you. Thank you for clearing that up for me.

Kknittr, I had no idea you were Kay! I remembered chatting here with Kay and reading her bio but then she disappeared, or so I thought. I`m glad to have that cleared up and that Kay is still here. I think I`ll call you Kay, if that`s all right with you. Seems more personal to call someone by their name to me and much easier for me to remember. And I need all the help I can get with the memory stuff. Seems I can remember yarn and patterns but not much else these days. ;-}
