I lvoe the bag, and yes, Bets you need to try it. We put the notes on two Ode to Joys last night, finished late so no pictures yet, now I just have to line them. It is fun, enough that DD#1 took over from me and finished them off. MUCH faster than embroidering those notes on. The only trouble was we broke a huge number of needles, so if you have deadline on a project better to have a big supply of needles.

Evelyn, that is a great bag! How big is it? Did you use the needle punch to needle felt the white soutache, or regular needles?

Thank you for all your nice comments about my latest bag. I have another one which is a little more artistic but I`m having difficulty with the picture on my computer. Maybe later.
Bets, you definately should try needle felting. Your great artistic abilities would come across really nice with this technique.
I use the proper needle felting needles in different gauges.
Trish - I noticed you had the correct spelling of the design. Thanks. I just know it from my cake decorating classes and we obviously weren`t spelling it correctly.
This bag will be part of my Christmas Sale this year. I don`t use this kind of purse. I prefer leather. Ha Ha.
It`s a good size, approximtely 12 x 14 inches.
