I lost my sweet grey kitty today to acute renal failure. She did not respond to aggressive treatment; her kidneys had given out. It`s been a very difficult couple of weeks on the pet front.

This has just been a heartbreaking month for you. I`m so sorry about your grey kitty. There really aen`t any good words other than just to say that I hope time will help soften these bruises to your soul, and send another bit of soft fluff to keep you and your remaining cat company.

Emily....my heart aches for you. I hope they are working on some kind of cure or prevention for our beloved kitties kidney problems. I lost one last year to it. It seems that every kitty that has been lost lately has had kidney problems. Maybe we should start them on the kidney food right away when we adopt them. Come to think of it, there is not enough protein in it for a healthy kitten.
Take your remaining one kitty into your arms and have a good cry together. You`ll feel better after but you`ll have a headache and you`ll look like crap....but you`ll feel you did all you could for your wonderful kitty.

Thank you. She was my dear buddy. She was my bottle baby and was uncommonly smart and unbelievably devoted. She had more vocabulary than many people. I`ve never had a cat like her before and I`m so sad to have lost her as well as Eloise.
