Pat, that is just beautiful. Did you follow the colorways exactly, or march to your own drummer? How many colors did you use?

I was aware that we have some incredible knitters here but your jacket just threw me. It`s georgeous. Did you use a pattern for the embellishments or did that come right out of your creative mind? Evelyn

Is this intarsia?? You are the QofI, maybe? I just don`t see any other way you could have done this amazing piece of artwork.
Well, however you did it, you are the Knitting Queen today! Congrats!

Thank you all for your wonderful praise! This is a Jean Moss kit that I bought on Ebay from a knitter who felt she would never get to it. I was determined not to sell it on to someone else! I started knitting on it in August this year. What helped me to finish it was making it my prority knitting while on vacation.
This kit comes in two colorways and I used the colors in this kit. It has eight colors and the knitting is in intarsia. I discovered when knitting it together that the pockets in the front are not symetrical due to the motifs. Had I been more disciplined and read over the entire pattern before I began knitting I might of caught it and moved the motifs around. Fortunately with the black backgound it is hard to see this unless I go around with both hands in the pockets-NOT.
Now I am on to my next WIP- a Kaffe Fassett tunic called Criss Cross in Donegal Lambswool Tweed. It has been on needles for several years. patw
