Yes, it is nice. I did a bra test on this before I started the Highland Triangle Shawl, and completely forgot that it was there, till I was putting on my jammies and it fell out! LOL!

This would be a good substitute for Rowan Big Wool - at a tremendous savings.

OK guys...here`s your chance. Everybody order up huge amounts of the chunky HW and make something really big. Send it off to me and it will come back by return mail, a fraction of it`s original size.
I`ve got the hang of it now....Ha Ha
Oh, don`t take it all...I want some.

ROFL!!! No, Evelyn, the Tranquil Lagoon I have is the last of a yarn-buying-frenzy stash of HW Chunky. I sold off the other 30 or so skeins this summer. The TL is turning into a nice shawl, though, and with the house being about 68F when I get up in the mornings, it will be well-appreciated.

But can I interest you in a bunch of White Buffalo??

You`ve got to be kidding....I have a case of that stuff that I will give away. I bought it when I first started knitting, thinking I could make such good felted things. I can`t even stand to look at it.

I have a super adorable zip-up jacket pattern for white buffalo. It`s from the "From the Hip" leaflet, a lot more up-to-date than the Cowichan look.

I`ve made one in rust colour for my sister last year and have enough Olive for one for me. I don`t need anymore White Buffalo.

Jayne, until I read your last statement, I was already thinking of packing it up and sending it to Vancouver.

Well, if you want to do that Evelyn, I can think of two good homes for it. My new knitters would likely be all over it, or I could donate it to the Sheltering Stitch project. They are accepting yarn as well as knitted items. Maybe I could challenge my knitters to make something with it to donate. We could all do that together.

How do you feel about donating?
