Aww shucks! Thanks. I`m just so glad that she liked them. That`s the coolest thing ever is to put a smile on someone elses face. I don`t mean to sound cheesy but you have to admit that`s a pretty cool thing.

SO COOL! Can you tell us more about what the main body is? I can`t quite figure it out in the picture. I was thinking that now that my kids are making me stitch markers for my birthday that it would be really cool to design a pin that would hold them so you could take them off as your need them in your knitting and bingo, there it is! VERY cool. Daryl

Pretty, pretty! Having `jewelry for your knitting` makes the fun even better! That`s a lovely gift.

Enid, You are very talented. What a wonderful thing for you to do by surprising Bets. I love the idea of having a pin to attach the markers too.

Thank you, everyone.
Daryl, for the pin, I used a piece of Friendly Plastic (remember that stuff) a made a little decorative something with some wire. The piece holding the markers is a jump ring that I made myself because i couldn`t get the split rings to open. (ggrrr..) and a lobster claw clasp. It would have been super cool if the clasp was the same color as the wire.

Thanks for sharing Enid, What a great idea! I switched to using split rings instead of jumprings too because I had trouble with a couple of mine not closing properly and falling apart, particularly when using chains of them to keep track of rows in lace patterns using a repeating pattern. I actually splurged on one of those split ring pliers from Fire Mountain after spending hours wrestling with them and splitting my short stubby nails but not the rings. It is well worth it! Daryl
