I would like a great bolero pattern but mostly what I am finding out there are patterns for the fun fur. Any ideas?

Well you can always substitute yarn for fun fur & avoid being a target of the You Knit What blog!

There is a really cute one by Karabella (www.karabellayarns.com > Patterns > Aurora Bulky > pattern #264) - I think its just called "Cabled Bolero". My daughter is making this as her first cable project and it is coming out really nice. I may even make one for myself!

Hi Cindy,

Welcome to the chatsite. Have you looked through the free patterns section of the site? There are several pretty bolero and shrug patterns there. I also seem to remember that the Debbie Bliss pattern books have shrugs and boleros as well. A tie would be easy to add to any pattern you find that you like. I think some of the elann free patterns have ties in the pattern.

If I think of more patterns, I`ll post back. Have fun looking at patterns. :)

Hi Cindy
Welcome to our chat site.
Have you seen the newest edition of Creative Knitting magazine? There is a very cute easy bolero in it and also lots of other patterns for easy stuff.

Cindy,
Welcome to the site!

I`m remembering a red bolero from Interweave Knits mag. I think some folks here attempted it and it might give you some ideas. I don`t have my stack of issues nearby to check but I think it was the spicy bolero.

Good luck! You`ll have to let us know what you pick.

Welcome to the chat site Cindy. If you are on Ravelry there are tons of Bolero/shrug patterns. And there are quite a few free ones online. If I find some more I will post links for you
Again welcome
