Hi SK. I sent you an email. What`s on my needles? The same 100 yards over and over again! ;-} I`ve been working on the shawl design and haven`t knit anything else! I`ve got to get this done so I can get busy on my stash. At this rate, it will be next Christmas before I meet my goal of 3000 yards. ;-}

Benne: I am still on my chart, most properly my 10th drift, no less. Papers are all over. Still on the same line as I wrote you last time. I had been swatching, washing, drying, and ripping.......

Benne: got your email. I had a garden walk party at home yesterday, clean house, prepare dinner and clean up later. Didn`t get a chance to reply. Today, I have a dentist appointment....have to run to the town. Will talk to you after return. I love today`s offer and the shawl. I want one. SK

SK, I would have loved to be in that canoe with you! There`s magic in canoes. I could use a little magic right now.
Marge is failing very, very fast. She is now too weak to walk at all, even with a walker. I stayed with her the other day while family ran errands, kept appointments, etc. and I had to pick her up in my arms to take her to the bathroom. She has a wheelchair now and that is much safer for her and us. She is on some pretty heavy pain meds and the morophine pump is not far off. She is alert and still laughs and smiles but doesn`t talk much. And her favorite gown is one I took her to wear. It`s a nightshirt, white with bright green alligators all over it. :-}

Benne, I have been thinking of you and Marge a lot. I hope that you are hanging in there and enjoying being with your good friend. You are doing everything you can - and that is "right". Lots of love, D.

Benne: I had been in the emergence room, hospital and clinics several time this year, I heard people screaming for the pain, I know how Marge feels. Huggs to both of you. Take care of yourself. SK

Thank you so much, SK, Michelle and Donna. It is an honor for me to walk these last steps with Marge. Hard, but healing too. Yesterday she was wearing another gown I took her. Bright pink with black pawprints on it. The gowns make her smile and she looks very cute in them. :-}

Benne: I have a lot of anxiety these days because of my family member`s health problems. Finally I got my katrina lace cable pullover (with some frogging due to lack of concentration) and charlotte`s web shawl done. Will write to you later. SK

Hi SK! I`ve been a little puny the last few days with little energy but I`m on the way back now. :-}
I spent today with Marge. She gave me a bird feeder just like hers. She said, "I want you to have a feeder like mine so you can watch the birds and remember the days we spent together watching the birds at my feeder." I am without words to describe how I feel right now.

Thank you, Jayne. Yes, Marge is a dear heart. She is giving me the most precious gift of loving memories even before she is gone, building a bridge from here to there and me to her.
