Libby,

It goes way back to my early posting days on the chatsite. I never thought this yarn would come up again as I googled (even the German sites) looking for it and couldn`t find it. You probably are not familiar with this yarn, it was very elusive.

Benne, who hopes everyone gets their newsletters soon :-}

Benne,
Looks like we will be Tennessee-bound around April 29, 2006. I`ve not checked but that appears to be a weekend. We here are not equipped for that kind of long term planning until at least December, but I wanted to get on your radar.

Hope your holiday stuff for the exchange is coming together. We miss you!

Hey, girl! You`re always on my radar. lol I`ll keep that date in mind, wouldn`t it be a great time to hit a LYS for spring fibers?! I`m knitting frantically on my gifts, I`m afraid I`ll get the "late prize." Glad to be back in the world of getting dressed before noon. HA!

I just read a post that said that you were having migranes. Are you doing OK now? Just worrying about you.

Thanks, Libs and everyone else who sent me good wishes. I`m doing much better. I had a song running through my head there for a couple of days, "I wear my sunglasses at night." I used to have migraines a lot and haven`t had one in a few years. I forgot what a treat they are. ;-}

You have my complete sympathy.

I`ve suffered from migraines for many years, and I`m just glad someone invented Imitrex, which often works.

You know what I heard - I heard that buying copius amounts of yarn from Elann cures migraines!

Love Imitrex, but it makes me sooooo loopy. I had a migrane not too long ago & felt "okay" on the drug, but just yesterday had a couple of programs returned to me (I`m a software developer) because they had, ahem, "issues" - I just looked at the stuff I`d written and wondered what planet I`d been on!

I`ve never taken Imitrex and this was kind of out of the blue, hopefully not to be repeated. And if Imitrex makes you loopy, well, I start out loopy, that could be a real disaster. If buying yarn holds off migraines, I should be safe for the future. ;-}

Imitrex works great for me, but I cant drive the car after taking it. Last time I tried I dented the side of the car with a raised flower bed - why they put in the parking lot im not sure!

Hi Mama Henlette,

It was one of those "fasten your seat belts, it`s gonna be a bumpy night" kinda things. Lots of tornadoes all around us, but we were lucky. :-}

That is good news. I never thought I`d say this but I can`t wait for winter, when the weather seems to be less violent. Bri

Hey, we had a tornado one day this week in Iowa, and snowfall the next. Not kidding.

Thanks, all. I had all my emergency provisions, including hot water in thermos bottles. Emily, I saw the home video of that tornado in Iowa. What was that kid thinking???!!! Well, he is 21 and still thinks he`s bulletproof, I guess. It`s going to be down in the teens here tonight after yesterday in the 70`s. Weird weather. And I`m getting my cabled poncho finished just in time. ;-}

Benne,

I heard about your night this morning on the radio. I`m glad to hear that you and Thom are OK. How did your house do? I"m hoping that everything was fine.

Emily, I didnt realize that Iowa was hit as well. I`m glad to hear that you are OK as well.

Benne: I have to go to the setallite to look you up. You said that you are on the south of the highway? Any green lawn around the lake? SK
