Jean your sweater is absolutely stunning....I think that we are gonna have to start calling you Eileen! (in that your cables are just great and she is legendary for cables!)

Jean, Beautiful knitting and sweater! How did you like knitting with Ballybrae, how does it compare with Paton`s Classic Merino? Looks like the cables near the neckline turned out just fine :->! Sandra

Truly a completely beautiful picture. Suitable for only the best Knitting magazines. Hard to tell whether the glowing happiness is joy and pride in completion of the sweater, the site, having your family together for two weeks, or a combination of all of the above. Daryl

Jean the sweater is just beautiful and it look fab on you. What a background. Now if you could just look like you had some inner pain, you would be right out of Vogue Knitting :-D You ruined the Vogue layout by smiling ;) The cable definition is perfect, no easy feat to show in these tiny pictures. May you always be this happy when you wear the sweater

Thanks everyone! You are too kind. I have to say, I think I see why the Ballybrae went out. There`s no boing to it at all. I`m going to have to put some elastic in the ribbing at the bottom. By the end of the day it was all stretched out. Easy fix though. That said, the color is gorgeous. There`s little flecks of purple and other bright colors all through it.

Jean!
Looks great! Actually, Ballybrae used to be made by Brunswick, in Pickens, SC, but Paton`s bought them out!
Your sweater looks absolutely beatiful, you did a great job! Bavaria looks pretty good too-

Jean, your sweater is really beautiful! The color is so nice on you, and you should be proud to have done such a great job with all those cables!!
The background is stunning! Where are you? Jackson Hole, WY? Aspen or Vail, CO? Canadian Rockies?

Dear Jean, Stunning, the sweater, the place, and you, of course. How long (total) did it take you to complete? I have a whole summer ahead of me. Great project! Bri

That`s right, Bets. I remember that now. Thanks for the kind comments and the music. lol. That`s my favorite movie for as long as I can remember. I want to go do the tour but the guys think it`s too girlie. What do they know. It`s only three hours away. Maybe I`ll get a friend to go with me via the train. Peace, Jean

Hey there Bri, Thanks. I had to go look in my blog archives... lol. I started it February 13th, so it took me two months. There was quite a bit of down time in the knitting basket though. I`m sure you could knock it out faster than that. Peace, Jean
