Oh dear! oh dear! oh dear! Couldn`t miss that bargain, could I? So I ordered three bags full of ruby. I`m going to try the Classic Elite Pattern #677 Intertwined Lives, the yarn may be too too soft, but will see. I don`t usually knit a garment in the colour shown in the pattern, just on principle, but . . . Ann was wearing a sample of this sweater when she came over in September - it looked great, so I have been watching for some yarn for it. Of course, I already have HW Rudy sitting in one of those white boxes on the floor - but DD has coverted that and it has started to grow into a poncho.

I ordered ruby in the bag wool and the HW too. We, along with Shui Kuen, must be part hummingbird! lol
Off to look up that pattern.

Benne: I was in the town yesterday. Today, there is no ruby, no ox blood, no... I ordered 11 bags this morning. I think that is it for me. Noe more until....

I got got my HW box with Freesia in it and realized it really IS a perfect match with Ruby for the Harry Potter scarves, so i dug out my last remaining balls of Ruby... NOT! They`re gone, forgot I`d used it ALL up, no problem... just go order some more... WHAT???!!!!! NOT AGAIN THIS YEAR!!!!!! YOU PEOPLE ARE OUT OF CONTROL!!!! NO RUBY LEFT???!!!!!???? Honestly, folks!!!!

Hey MacChick,
If you`re really desperate to make HP scarves for Christmas, i can send you a couple balls from my stash... it`s not even from this year, it`s from *last* year... so I figure I probably won`t get around to using it until the next time rolls around! Just let me know :-). I do also have one lonely ball of Ruby from this year`s production if you`d like that.

MACCHICK!!!!! WHAT WERE YOU THINKING GIRL????!!!!! I CANNOT believe you didn`t order any ruby! Okay, calm down, it`s coming back in January, Bea`s got some and I`ve got PLENTY. Let me know how much you need, there`s no way I can get mine knitted up before January. Not with the frog rate I`ve got going (grumble, grumble...)
