I should be getting my elann order next week - I ordered the antique pink and the deep lavender. But today I went to my not-so-local yarn store and actually saw this stuff in action...it is beautiful!! I ended up buying a skein of the sungold to accent the pink and lavender because the yarn shop had a darling little minnowknits vest done up in the lavender and sungold, with fimo buttons - too cute for words. I can`t wait to get my order now, and I`ve decided that a cotton cardigan for each of my girls will be my summer project.

Ahhhh-
I feel so much better...I was afraid my color would be sold out, so I ordered a bit.

I ended up putting another`s wants before mine, and am currently basking in my saintly glow. While I was still vacillating about the Sunshine and the Zelda, DH came in and saw the Deepest Blue Araucania. He really liked it and has been gently remonstrating recently that I haven`t made him something in ages - so that`s where my Elann discount went.
I got some turquoise too - enough for that little top. I have a friend back home who adores turquoise and would love it.
Eileen.

Okay, we all know what you`re up to, you`re knitting for everyone else with that saintly glow so you don`t have to knit for YOU. You know when Theresa and I get you alone we are going to do a little knitting brainwash on you so you will knit something for yourself, like that White Lies vintage jacket. You knit so beautifully we are all waiting with bated breath (and no smart remarks about our breath from you missy) to see your jacket. You owe it to all of us to get going on something glam for you so we can all drool over it. Benne

Oh Judy, just do it. I took Bets advice and bought yarn to get myself over that computer meltdown. It`s also highly possible that it saved DH from a Benne meltdown. lol Benne

Didn`t have a computer meltdown - yet, but just in case it should happen, I bought some of this yarn in raspberry, lapis and turquoise for the DD`s to knit 2 tanks and the t-shirt. Goin` in bright!! Lesley

Les, Those are the exact colors I am pondering over buying, one or the other keeps calling to me. Your box will look like cotton candy when it arrives!

I bought the rasberry, because that is the summer equivalent of "ballet pink!" who can forget THAT discussion?
Only a yarn snack, 5 skeins and some Bryspuns....but now I won`t have shopping bag envy. B
