They slipped their photos in quietly there, thinking we wouldn`t notice! And they`re both absolutely beautiful too! I didn`t realise that the baby pic to the top left was one of yours, Ann - looks like one of those picture perfect children that you see in magazine ads, that you know doesn`t REALLY exist, LOL! And Benne - you look just as I imagined - there`s no diguising a hippie free-spirit personality!
And, not to be rude in any way, but neither of you look your ages!
Eileen.

Yes, and if you click on the more photos link at the bottom of Ann`s bio, there are even MORE cute pictures!
And you know, I never believed all that stuff about Cher being Cherokee until I saw Benne`s photo, and read how she is part Cherokee, and saw how much she looks like Cher, and so now I guess I will believe Cher`s story after all!

Love the pictures but why isn`t Robert wearing anything knit <g>? I am on several lists (dog-related) and this is the first one where I have seen pictures of the humans. So good to have faces for names. I promise I will get a picture soon. Cate

I told Robert about your observation. You`ve now reminded him how deprived he his - it`s been almost 12 years since I knit him a sweater. I could probably count on one hand the projects I`ve actually completed since I started Elann, which ironically, has left me with next to zero time for knitting.
Now that I think about it, it`s like one of those tortures the Greek gods used to think up to punish mortals - hungry and thirsty Tantalus, with a banquet set before him, unable to eat and drink, and knit-crazed me, a feast of yarn before me, unable to knit. I`m sure you all feel very sorry for me!

yes, lovely pictures ladies! Re: the Cherokee line.....isn`t the lovely Rita Coolidge of the same descent? Eileen - could you look more Irish? A "hot" colleen (get into your "white Lies" and tell your husband!!!) When I was little, I dreamed of being tall with long shiny brunette hair........but then you know what they say - blonds do have more fun!! ;-} Les

Can`t slip anything past you Eileen. Thanks for the kind remarks everyone. Question MacChick, would that be the Cher in black leather bustier and garter belt singing "If I Could Turn Back Time" to a shipload of gorgeous young sailors or the Cher that`s a witch? Thought I`d better ask! LOL Ann`s baby`s picture is beautiful. I love seeing that sweet little face everytime I open the chat page. And yes, Rita Coolidge is part Cherokee. I worked with her and Kris Kristofferson back when their daughter Casey was a baby (and they were still married)and she is incredibly beautiful and a very nice lady. Kris isn`t too bad either. lol Benne

Hi- Oh, I forgot about Rita...I was thinking more in the Crystal Gayle/EmmyLou Harris mode for Ann and Benne, not because they really LOOK like them, but because they set their own look. EmmyLou is my hero, because she`s always been different from your average chick singer!

Oh, now I gotta go poking around for a picture I think is tolerable. Thanks guys....

EmmyLou is fabulous! I too worship at the throne of EmmyLou. I wore out lots of her records on vinyl and "Boulder to Birmingham" is still one of the absolute best songs ever recorded by anyone. When I listen to her in the car I have the volume so loud I have to roll the window down so my ears don`t bleed and I`m singing to the top of my lungs! It`s a good thing no on can hear me.LOL Benne

Oh! I am equally out of tune with "Hello Stranger!" I think I flattened the grooves on "Quarter Moon in a 10 Cent Town!
She is just the business! As is Karla Bonoff and Bonnie Raitt!

As long as the stereo is loud enough to cover my caterwauling, that is!
