Ive been on a knitting frenzy lately and have 5-6 project on needles. One is an old pattern from Interweave Knits by Sally Melville called Ballet Cashmere. I`m knitting it with some merino wool/silk I got at The Mannings booth MD wool festive 2004. I also started the traveling shells lace cardigan featured here knit up by our Bets. I am knitting it with the Lavold yarn I got from here in May.
PatQOC.

I`m halfway through the armhole of the back piece of a cardigan from the self-striping Kelly yarn from last year`s bag sale. This one`s going to have plenty of ease! I`m using an easy lace pattern from the Perla shell pattern from one of the Needful books. It is keeping my interest up in figuring out what to do at either ends of the rows where there are partial stitch pattern repeats whose stitch counts vary with shaping.

There are so many other warm weather yarns that I`d like to try in my stash before summer is over. Kind of like the outdoor house maintenance I`ve been busy trying to schedule this summer too :-p.

Bets, the other day I pulled out the only thing so far that I made from my Paton`s Katrina stash, a pink shell, and tried it on. That was nice yarn! So soft next to the skin and comfortably stretchy...I think your lace yoke pullover in Katrina is going to be great!

Stuff on needles, but not worked on much. Have something that needs seaming. Another thing needs ends weaved in. Working on a shawl(!) and of course a sock. Not making much progress on the sock. Have discovered that I can`t work with DPNs when my eyes are tired cuz then it feels like all the pointy DPN tips (even the ones that are just sitting idle) are "poking" at my eyes with just the slightest movement. It`s real annoying.

Been reading printed books or listening to audio books, and playing on the Wii.
I have been knitting up the yarns from the Dyeing retreat. We had some small balls of about 1/3 skein which I am using to make some baby hats for the oct. sale. Having fun "cutifying" them.
Have the sock yarn we dyed to mimic the self patterning yarns on the needles for a sock,
a mitred baby blanket from sock yarn and
a scarf called "Gust" in some Fleece Artist BFL Sock. There are other things languishing in the corner having lost interest in them right now.
The scarf pattern has 12 row repeats which I was mucking up regularly. I finally bought some index cards and wrote out each row on a card and attached them with rings and it has made such a difference for me. I had been using sticky notes to mark the row on the pattern sheet but must have bought the cheap ones - they kept falling off my sheet protector. Now I`m safe!

Plugging away at another mitered square blanket. Started the Spring Agate yarn for a scarf in blues. Got a 7-8 yard warp on the loom for placemats. I want to try the Adara for weft, with the cotton natural color on the loom. I like to combine 8-12 threads from weaving stash in cottons for a weft. Makes nice thick placemats. After this warp I am set to do several scarves in Millifili colors, and perhaps some Pegasus and other medium weight cottons for scarves. I`ll probably use white tencel of tencel/cotton yarn for part of warp and the weft. I promised once scarf to a good friend in California.
Happy knitting, Jamie

I got a hat, 2 tams and a short scarf out of a bit less than 3 skeins of Cotton Fleece that was donated, using the Meret beret pattern; photos on Ravelry eventually. Last night I did a little sock-yarn square for a DWB fundraising group project for Sock Summit 09.

I`ve had a sock OTN for DH for weeks; had to ravel back because it was too long and now I keep forgetting to get him to try it on.
At the risk of scaring you all...

I`ve been doing a makeup "Cast On Mania" session which was done in Feb by Village Hopelessly Overcommitted over in Raverly. To follow no cast on WIPs only in January! I wasn`t able to participate at the time despite the mania part being inspiration by me (mania = average one cast on for every day of the month - not necessarily a cast on on EACH DAY)

May is actually Cast on Dreams which is simply to cast on at least two things you`ve always told yourself you`re going to make and have dreamed/dwelled/obssessed on but for whatever reason have not started yet... and that`s good too cause I`ve gotten at least 5 casted on!

So I`m a little behind but of 26 cast ons this month, I`ve finished 3: BCB #4, my first shawl using SKK`s pattern & Elann`s Superwash Bamboo... photo later today, and my first Calorimetry!

Been keeping track of my full list here (all links go to Ravelry project pages and MOST have actual OTN photos)
http://leonineponderances.com/may-cast-on-maniacast-on-dreams/

I had other WIPs before this month but now I have a LOT ... but all the better for WIP Wrestlemania ... 2009`s answer to Ravelympics, in July. It`s a group on Ravelry too if you want to join in...

I`m excited cause last night I actually attempted a new design of my own as my cast on. Feeling really good about it and using a skein of that Filtes King Super (bulky version of Extra) which is so scrumptious!

Started the Green Autumn mitts in my Rowanspun from a few years ago also, I even swatched, but then 16 rows into the pattern decided I couldn`t see the stitch pattern well enough on my tiny needles and moved up two needles sizes, this time without swatching. Oh well, hopefully better to have mittens too big than too small and they will still fit, cross my fingers.
Actually getting knit, or just on there since 1991?

Actually getting knit is a tiny little Slytherin sock, right at the moment.

On the needles since 1991? Avocado Red Heart Super Saver drop shouldered sweater in a diamond knit-purl pattern, I ran out ofyarn and have been deciding what to do ever since. But since this is from my period during which I only started sweaters and never finished them, maybe it does not count? :-)

I read the second book of the twilight series, and a bunch of romances, and I have been reading a lot of my friend`s fiction. One of them has started getting published. And I have been writing a lot. Unfortunately, it does cut into knitting time... :-(

I`m all over the map, though none of them are recommended by Oprah; I`ve found I don`t usually like those books. Check out this Ravelry reading forum: 52 Books in 52 Weeks. I`ve been getting SO many ideas from there, fiction, mysteries and sci-fi/fantasy. I`ve rediscovered my local library, which has helped with a reduction in my Barnes & Noble bills. ;)
I`m also in the Audiobook Knitters forum, and did splurge a bit on audiobooks when they were on sale for half-price - they give me heads-ups on good audiobook sales.

I recently finished Neil Gaiman`s `The Graveyard Book` and I`m in the middle of Cornelia Funke`s `Inkheart`. These are kids/young adult books, but well written and fun to read. I really enjoyed the Neil Gaiman/Terry Prachett collaboration `Good Omens`, so much that I bought it. As for romance, Lauren Willig has a series set in the era of the Scarlet Pimpernel; the first book is `The Secret History of the Pink Carnation`; it`s a bit tongue-in-cheek and great fun.

Nothing exciting in my corner of the world. Still working on a simple Knit/Purl scarf for either an uncle or cousin, haven`t decided which yet. I really needed something brainless to knit while watching TV. My brain is a bit burnt out on the youknowwhat I recently finished, so I agree with you about exploring easy stitches. Also thinking about doing some dishcloths, but that would mean digging out the cotton yarn from the move... it might be easier to just go buy more yarn than to look for what I have, lol.

I keep thinking it`s Friday cuz I`m expecting a little white box. I was really surprised that the Filati didn`t all fly out the door in one day/morning. Why do you think that is? It seems like such lovely yarn. Anyhow, I threw in a few Cuzco balls in my order and am looking forward to seeing/feeling what y`all are talking about. I can`t even remember which colors I got, maybe red and purple, 4 balls each color I think. Seems to be my thing when sampling a new yarn, 4 balls. Thanks SK for letting me know I can knit the Cuzco into a scarf with US15 needles.

As Christmas approaches, I find myself thinking more and more about thicker yarn --> quick knits for gifts. And I`m also thinking about my new neighbors too, what could I possibly knit them when I really don`t have a good feel for their tastes?

Billie:
Oy! What a comment your DH made!

Grace:
People wear knit leggings? I must be out of the fashion loop. ISE5 sounds like fun. I`d love to participate in swaps like that, but I know I`d never finish a scarf before the deadline.

Sandra:
Your Bebenhausen looks great! I have some HW Chunky too that I haven`t turned into anything yet. I only picked up 2 colors, 4 balls each color, to play around with and decide whether I really like the yarn, so they`ll become small projects. Maybe a hat or purse.

-Marie
http://smariek.blogspot.com

Great sweater, Sandra! As a note to you and Kelly, I made the rib vest (http://www.elann.com/ShowFreePattern.asp?Id=193024) after seeing the one Diane made. I loved the pattern but I didn`t post any pics because DH (after the fact) said it looked like I was wearing a rug!?!! I`d used chenille from the stash...good idea at the time. He later agreed that a lighter weight yarn would have made all the difference in the world...well, that`s what I remember him saying!

My Former Tangled Yoke Cardigan. Thank heaven I began with the sleeves. Even though I knit a gauge swatch, well into the sleeves I discovered that I was getting 7 stitches to the inch instead of 6. Fortunately, I had not begun the body so instead of recalculating the pattern to make it fit, I got out my trusty Ann Budd and am making a Seamless Yoke cardigan.

And the weather is finally cool enough to wear a sweater and socks!

The construction of the sweater is to my liking too...in the round up to the armholes, then back and forth for the yoke. I did drop down to US sz 7 needle from US sz 9 since I found my gauge going looser once I started knitting in rows, maybe the change in stitch pattern had something to do with it too, and a little more firmness in the armhole area is probably a good thing anyway. Bets, I`m hoping I have enough yarn too. This must be an all-time first...which leads to this confession: I am no longer the lace nudnik I once was. In fact, I`ve purchased Jane Sowerby`s eye-goggling book and so far have successfully quenched a raging case of startitis. Here`s what`s lurking in my knitting closet. The shawl KAL - Aran Victorian Lace in turquoise. The second piece of Oberle`s North Sea shawl in lavender KP fingering. Luna at the second repeat in a cheap fuzzy acrylic that is in fact looking terrific but probably won`t stay the course when worn. Sun Ray in its third repeat in yellow wool. Waiting in queue, everything I haven`t already made from Oberle and everything from the Sowerby book. I am having a great time! I usually start something new on Sundays. Today it`ll be Oberle`s Highland Triangle shawl in her hand-dyed yarn. The ancient Roman sybarites had nothing on me! Mary

Well, I wanted to wear Wren Next weekend while I pretend to be at Maryland...(If I go into the basement and start opening up bins there will be almost as much yarn...) but right now the back is still three inches long. I am swatching that perle cotton, which turne dout to be not quite the color I thought - instead it is a color I ADORE and am never sure I can wear. However, my mother can wear the same colors as Betsy, soif it ain`t good for me maybe ML will get dsomething out of it. And ML`s stole is right where it has been for months.

My big success so far is Luna. Luna, Luna, knew I loved that girl (HP joke)...I realized the other day that I am already, as far as I can figure, past the number of repeats it calls for, and I just can`t stop. It is already as long, unblocked, as it is supposed to be, blocked, and they do get larger, right?

Thanks to Daryl I will be able to start my Hogwarts socks as soon as I decide on a ribbing. I think I am going with the color patterns. Or maybe the lace. No, maybe the color patterns. I have even contemplated knitting both. I am a little worried that the person who is spoiling me is not going to end up getting hers, as she has not really heard much from her spoiler. Having an extra pair around might be nice, just in case... And this is too much fun entirely and I am signing up for the second Hogwarts sock swap as soon as it opens.

Socks - a project I can finish in one lifetime...

HMMM - Jayne sent me some sock yarn when we HUGe`ed...Do I think that would make good Horcrux socks? Also time to knit another sample garment for Wales, I`ve only done my cardigan/jacket so far. I have the yarn for my SIL`s - it`s going to be a pullover in gorgeous red in the Debbie Bliss Merino that was up early in the year, with black panels with the Sasha Kagan `Scotty Dogs` motif on them. Should be fun and I need to have at least one model with a Sasha Kagan `design element` as she is coming to give two days of workshops on colour and design before the knitters begin their projects.

I`d better get busy!

Alice
Salt Spring Island

Hopefully will achieve my ideal (right, ha!) when sleeves installed. It`s been rewarding working with big gauge yarn, can see results of trying out various things quickly. I can see making a few quick-knit sweaters in a row, and then I`ll have settled on what is the best way for me to do shoulder & neck shaping (e.g., work each side separately or simultaneously, put neckline stitches on holders or bind-off?) instead of re-deciding each time I make a sweater.

Just this morning I ravelled out nearly an entire ball of knitting on a shawl I love (and can actually understand the pattern for) from Cheryl Oberle`s Folk Shawls. I didn`t like the color. Does anyone want five 230-yard balls of fingering-weight coral yarn? I am on color 3 the second time through on the Adara shawl and loving the result. I`m using two balls of Oberle`s hand-dyed yarn (yummy wool/mohair in blues and purple) to make another Oberle shawl. I`m at the bottom, slow part, where the excitement happens. Haven`t touched the Fassett coat in weeks. It can wait until this shawl mania dissipates. This afternoon I swatched my white cotton for a shawl in Vogue`s Shawl book, which I`ll begin as soon as the Adara is done. And I have the yarn assembled and the pattern written and sequence decided on for a scrap shawl which will be very easy, making it as a recess project from the very slow lace on the Oberle shawl. You are all to blame for this shawl obsession, you know.

No matter how well I think I have done putting receipts into envelopes by categories AND keeping a ledger, he always wants more - spreadsheets this time! I have to sit and nod humbly and agree with what he says, so that he`ll keep working on them. Some of the receipts for meals for the house-searching trip in Wales in October were written on little squares of newsprint about the size of a post-it. He was not impressed - get asking for awkward things like date, location, and restaurant name.

Alice
Salt Spring Island

The only reason mine are done is because after one too many donuts at the Flushing post office on the evening of the 15th (OK, around 11:45 pm) we got someone to do them for us.

I just finished a sock for baby son. One sock. I am in this Hogwarts sock swap and I am trying various things - this is the worsted version of the Horcrux socks, made very small with HW. I have to get a piece of cardboard and make a little sock blocker to photo it on - the angles I could get when he wasn`t moving were not very clear...anyway, I have decided that while these are perfectly nice socks, they are not fancy enough if I am goning to use solids, so not these - and #1 son does not want a pair because he really only ever wants color patterns anyway, and besides that, he told me years ago lace socks make no sense - how can they keep you warm with those holes? So I showed him the sock on the baby, but he was totally underwhelmed.

Wren is right where she was more or less a week ago. The Luna shawl is sort of coming along a bit. And my mind is full of socks.

OOOH - and the other little goodies to put in the package. Isn`t it FUN making up little goodie bags of things you can actually understand someone getting and enjoying, as opposed to all the times you dutifully buy people things you`d gag if you had to unwrap yourself, and hope they will return the favor?
I`m plodding along too on my top-down cardi after ripping back from the too long raglan diagonal. Good news though, I tried it on after splitting the sleeves off, and it fits! The diagonal only measures 8", but the sweater neckline is sitting about 2" below my normal neckline, so that`s why the 8" is sufficient. Must be those 8 YO increases at the top of the neckline really opened it, either that or I didn`t measure my neckline and/or the gauge well. It`s OK though, I`m liking the inadvertent style change!

On the needles or actually seeing needle action? Three socks, one actually the second of a pair from yarn I dyed for DD#2 before Christmas, a pink/blue mohair scarf from last year`s Sublime in a pattern from Lavish Lace, I think Amy spurred me to get that started. I may just never finish it and keep it next to the computer to remind me every time mohair comes up that no matter how beautiful it is I REALLY don`t like knitting with it. Lime green splotchy ballet wrap top down for guess who, which had two hours of piano recital knitting ripped out last night because it was "too loose" on little sticky arms. This, I actually am enjoying knitting, so I don`t mind. Wisteria mohair top down, I think I`m going to be ok on the yarn. Crock-pot-dyed variegated Queenlsand DK scarf, which I love, but hasn`t seen much action since being cast on. LOTS of WIM.

I am seaming up the ribby cardi in cranberry Sisik. Then have the front edging and collar to do. (as I speak, I am watching 3 female pheasants getting breakfast of sunflower seeds from the chickadee feeder. There appears to be a pecking order - oh, here is the male, too. They are hysterical to watch).
I have a sock on the go which was started a long time ago. I am just reducing for the instep. There is a baby pullover to seam together, a cardi for DD, a scarf for a friend, and some other projects I have tucked away and need to find....somewhere. So, there are a few odd things to finish!
Les

Came home from work and finished off the second of a pair of slippers like Jaynes Soy Wool ones. Threw them in the wash to felt, returned to the living room and nodded off! I woke with a start and ran into the laundry room and pulled them out. Damn! They are too small! That yarn sure does felt well. You really can`t tell by looking at it!! I rinsed the soap out with hot water, not wanting them to shrink more and yanked and pulled and jammed my Cinderella`s Stepsisters sized foot in and now have them drying. They won`t be comfy on me but I have a friend who will fit them! I had knit them to the specs Jayne had put on her blog for the larger pair but it was my fault that I didn`t check them earlier.
It is a really cute pattern but I think I prefer the one I usually make as the back on the new ones doesn`t come as high as I like them too on the heel. I have some more yarn and will make another pair.
Les

You are so right about the self-patterning yarns - I finished, yesterday, a just-for-keeping warm-around-the-house lightweight acrylic pullover in Moda Dea (sock weight) Sassy Stripes in color "Crush" for my DGD and it`s gorgeous - pinks, mauve, cream, raspberry - I`m getting hungry thinking of all the crushed berry colors. The yarn is pretty soft for acrylic and ought to wear like iron - for several years - I used a child`s raglan pattern that specifically called for the yarn. I also just finished 2 Debbie Bliss pullovers - a purple plum for one twin and burgundy for the other in cashmerino chunky and an all over trellis pattern and sorry to say am not that happy with the yarn. It looks like they will have to be "combed" after washing (maybe after every wearing) which will not be great for my busy daughter. The purply-plum color had a hard finish that softened somewhat (and started fuzzing and matting on the raised trellis stitches) after hand washing and blocking but still is not nearly as soft as the burgundy (which also needed a lot of combing) - I can`t imagine what would happen with machine washing - I don`t know that I like this Debbie Bliss yarn. I also used up some Sirdar Snuggly to make a lavender pullover - using a trim of 10 rows of white and pale pink around the bottom and sleeves that turned out to look like a row of bunnies holding hands (paws) paper-doll-style (10 row slip-stitch pattern that was so easy - only one color per row -my first venture into multiple color). Now that the winter knitting is finished, I`m starting some stashed cotton blend yarns I bought from Elann for spring and summer tops - Pink Portofino Souffle top and Lerici Color cardigan. Both yarns are nice to work with so far.

As I look around (just the living room!), I scare myself with UFOs/WIPs.

My special "memory" shawl is done but needs blocking; no exact pattern, just a triangle done in chutes & ladders stitch pattern from Vogue summer `06. (`used Angel?hair...that`s what it was called....w/sock yarn purchased while on vacation out to west coast last Easter). I don`t even have to wear it to get a warm, fuzzy glow from it!

(Stupid) felted slipper clogs...I have 2nd FiberTrends clog waiting for outer sole. I thought the first clog was finished only to realize I`d forgotten to change colors for it`s outer sole, & I don`t have enough of the stashed putrid yellow to do both outer soles. Never again let me say, "Oh, I`ll make you a pair"!!!! Anyway, it`s pouting in the corner where it can stay until it smartens up!

DH`s hat...I love it!!!! Well, I love the yarn that I`m using! I`m making a lightweight hat liner which, on it`s own, is looking a bit like the one worn by the Travelocity gnome, too pointy to be in good taste! But it`s just the liner, so I`m not concerned. I`m knitting it on 3.5mm needles with Lana Grossa "Lambswool"...which is just so crazy soft I can`t put it down! The outer hat (Elann Sock It To Me, Harlequin) will cover my pointy-hat sins. That self-patterning sock yarn is really the lazy-man`s answer to fair isle!

The City Cardi has moved from knitting room floor to living room piano...it`s moving closer to my knitting chair. The top-down-cardi-turned-pullover is moving away from the chair...I can sense I`m going to run out of yarn and can`t get past the mental hurdle of frogging vs. continuing with the sleeves in order to confirm the yarn shortage.

What`s everyone else playing with??

At last, I am binding off my Leaf Lace shawl (or should be instead of posting)! I knitted in beads on the last row per the instructions. The most frustrating was spending an hour at Michael`s today trying to find beads that would work (right color, shape & big enough hole). Then taking two possible selections home and finding they didn`t work (couldn`t try at store since they are in sealed bags).
Was tempted to use DS`s offer of his transclucent pony beads only they glow in the dark and came to my senses that that would not be in keeping with my shawl ideal. Tried one of my Michael`s selection again, really pulling hard on the stitch to get the yarn thru, and it worked. The Luna yarn strand got a little frayed in some instances but it is behind the bead and doesn`t show.
After the shawl, I`ve got three possible projects: start a shell in Katrina with my sampling of Blossom, just to get used to the yarn, or finish Debbie Bliss Merino pullover, or lengthen sleeves of my B&B. Maybe my arms have gotten wider this summer (I`m sure it`s not longer!) but the sleeves could do with another half inch.

Must be because it`s Labor Day weekend - I`m laboring at organizing. I now have all my yarn sorted, stored, SPREADSHEET IN MY COMPUTER classified by name, color, gauge, yardage, pattern idea, and best of all a code for where it is stored since I have multiple locations. This is giving my poor wrists a rest from the "chenille experience". Now I`m thinking of doing a spreadsheet of patterns - Because I have downloaded everything I ever thought I might be interested in,I`m losing it! and, I am looking at the old Debbie Bliss (1997) Great Knits for Kids. I`m flummoxed by the sizes though. All the sweaters are so oversized hung on these skinny little models. It`s hard to tell what they will really look like (other than tents). Did we really wear such oversized clothes - the yarn quantities are unreal - huge sleeves, etc. How would a little kid carry them around especially in cotton. Now I`m looking at Folk Bags for a felting project - couple of neat ideas there. I did break down and went back to the LYS sale today(20% off New Fall Lines)- bought some of that neat angora blend and some King Cole DK merino for charity knitting and some cotton blend for ?? . Fortunately they are closed tomorrow. I truly did have to leave the house though because I`m dogsitting my DD`s aging Queensland Heeler and he seems to have some trouble digesting his lunch and is ..aah ..giving off some disgusting fumes. Happy Labor Day everybody!

Talk about luck!

Billie, I looked at the pattern for that cardi...no, I didn`t just look, I saved it. THAT looks useful.

Chris, we gotta talk about socks!

B

Sandra, I know you can do it. Your ability to adjust and tinker with patterns amazes me and I have great respect for you. Didn`t your bio say you were an engineer in a past life?

Got the body seamed up and the collar finished on Debbie Bliss Aran pullover. When I first tried it on, didn`t look so good (case of style not flattering to body). Younger DS corroborated my fear that it looked like a bag on me. I got older DS to try it on, and my knitting was vindicated, it looks great on HIM ;-P. The narrow front cable panel does not bulge at a spot to be minimized; lays perfectly flat and beautiful on his adolescent teen abs! So plan B is this will be his sweater, but I`m going to make extra deep ribbed cuffs in case he doesn`t wear it, I can still wear it with sleeves folded back. Next I`m going to attempt top-down, set-in sleeves for this sweater following instructions in BW`s "Knitting from the Top" and Maggie Righetti`s "Sweater Design in Plain English". New territory for me, should be interesting!

Well...I`m working on the B&B sleeve #2 and will be ready to seam that puppy soon. I`ve also got a button band for the ribby in progress and something else to seam. Oh, there`s the Cork sweater too, half way done with that. I`m almost between projects and will likely stay this way between things for a while with all the travel coming up. Hopefully, there`ll be a lot of FOs for all of us in the next couple of weeks.
Bri

Only the button band left for my pink Micro Cable cardigan for DD#2, Still working on my sisik Mermaid shawl, and a green shawl for my LYS KAL. Everyone else finished I think and I`ve only knit on it during the two meetings. I am GOING to finish the Sisik before doing any other lace. Some lovely soft Navy for my Kiri, cast on but... blue socks from birthday yarn trying out Wendy`s toe up pattern with Alices two circs,(like it), and of course, my treasured but neglected B&B, and I HAD to cast on some Sonata for my own Soleil. I won`t let myself get any more Sonata until I make at least ONE thing in it. You people better leave some Esprit for me this year. I won`t let myself get any more of that either until I make something from what I have to prove I can knit with it.

Despite the fact that I have this rug on the go (it can rest for a day or so)

Despite the fact that my handpainted yarn came in the mail today...mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I am plugging away on the second sleeve of the Adhoc hoodie. Getting sick of cotton. Need to get my hands on that yummy wool.

You`re taking Sheena to Philly, aren`t you Bets? I didn`t get the part where you said you were feeling guilty about the sock yarn. Why guilty? Naturally, you`re planning to knit socks for all of San Antonio, aren`t you? AREN`T YOU??

Bets, I love Soleil and want to make them again and again! I succumbed to washrag fever and have made 3 so far. I am calling it the Fiesta Collection because I am doing them in the BRIGHTEST colors possible.
Almost finished the Lavinia Berocco pattern in Linus, doing the IK summer 06 Bonita patern in Esprit (for my DD). Bonita is taking way too long. I think it`s the yarn...Lastly, started a linen guest towel from the Mason Dixon book, with the real Euroflax Original linen yarn purchased yesterday at my LYS. Nice stuff!

I`m coming down the homestretch on Soleil (had a small frog event because I misunderstood the construction method), ready to take my mystery project out of time-out, anxiously awaiting a box of Sonata, need to make two baby hats, need to do homework swatches, and don`t have a sparkling handknit wardrobe of handknits to wear to Philly. Where are the elves....who`s stashing them?

What`s on your needles?

B
