When I stand in front of a mirror, it`s not noticeable. But I`ve conclude I must have a shoulder that`s slightly higher (lower?) than the other. I`ve had a problem with sweater necks that are crooked and hang more to one side than the other, but yesterday was a real groaner with my kiri.
Because of the vertical line of YO`s that run up the middle of the kiri, it`s VERY obvious that the shawl has a tendency to shift; that line kept ending up running down from my right shoulder blade!?!!
Anyone else feel inclined to openly complain about body parts? Anyone have solutions for living with bad-behaving body parts??

There is not enough room on this website. However, I often wish I could have what must be the 2 or 3 missing vertebra that would give me a normal length waist instead of the boobs to hips torso that I do have.

I thought for years that the people hemming my pants were incompetent, then I realized that one leg was shorter than the other.
However, because I am closing in on 50, my list of stuff that annoys me gets longer and longer.....

None of us are perfectly symetrical...I am also short waisted. Well, short legged, too - generally, short all over. A bit lumpy here and there. Canted to one side after a night of sleeping on the couch. Etc.
I would say just one thing - if you haven`t had a bone densisty test, and you are noticing that just maybe you are not structurally engineered the way you might once have been, it might pay to go to the doc and make sure there is no incipient osteoporosis, arthritis, or other thing going on. Every year they seem to have more and better stuff to deal with these issues, but it always seems that the general rule is, catch it early and you can deal with it best.
We`ve probably always been a little crooked here or there, but if it is more noticeable it could always be that a check up might bring to light somethig that would be a little thing now, but worseif left unattended.
T, who should listen to herself and have the colonoscopy she`s put off for two years...

I`m not sure which is making me laugh the hardest, Amy QOY or Bets, that youngster approaching 50!
One shoulder higher than the other (from my accounting life if not at birth). Check. One ear higher than the other (problem with glasses fitting). Check. Blind as a bat from birth (see glasses problem above). Check. Extremely short-waisted. Check. Undertall. Check. Etc. Check.

Bone density scan last year was OK, and I have a bit of milk and calcium supplements daily. The procedure I had was like a somewhat longer lying-down X-ray. Easy.
OTOH, wanna have a colonoscopy-a-long?

Oh, heck, we didn`t even consider eyesite, not-pretty-ring-hands, and other weirdness. And you stay far away from me with the scope, Missy.

3 pairs with good cases for $20 at Costco. I bought two sets, which should make 6, but if I can find 2 on any one day, it`s unusual. Sometimes I look for them to find them on my nose. Did that with my sunglasses the other day. Sigh. Bets, wait until you`re 50-mumble.

Billie How could you be so careless at not noticing that your mirror is broken. It`s not your body, you silly girl, it`s the mirror. Evlyn
